So, last night I decided to cast on a(nother) winter hat. But I was cozied up on the couch watching a movie and didn't really feel like setting up the swift and ball winder so I just used my feet to hold the yarn while I wound it by hand. Hey, it wasn't perfect but it worked!
Casting on later today! It'll be very much like the hat I posted about last week, just in different colors. I have a black pompom that I'll attach to it. I might also stitch a plain fleece hat inside of the knit one, to make an extra cozy lining. I don't know about the weather where you are, but we have had low temps in the teens --- 🥶

this is a good start, 2 blogs in 7 days!!!! :p Any port in a storm is a phrase used over here for make do and mend. We have had it wet wild and woolly, but no snow, thank goodness; that and ice can stay away. keep taking care xxxxx
